Immediately after we harvested our Axe Hole Bourbon Whiskey, while the barrel was still soaked in golden boozy goodness, we filled it with 100% pure grade A organic maple syrup. As the syrup aged for 6 months, it absorbed rich caramel and vanilla notes from the American oak. Pour this decadent syrup over pancakes, French toast, ice cream, or use it to make your next Old Fashioned or sour cocktail.
